SON EN BREUGEL - Om de gemeente te overtuigen dat een nieuwe brandweerauto noodzakelijk was, fietste het volledige brandweerteam in 1976 in de carnavalsoptocht. Het korps vierde zondag hun jubileumjaar met de slogan ‘Ok wij staon al 44 jaor vur herrie en kabaal’.
