Ook als het niet loopt en er nogal wat personele problemen zijn, is dit PSV in het huidige seizoen ongetwijfeld in staat om in thuiswedstrijden bijna alle punten in het Philips Stadion te houden. FC Groningen dacht zaterdagavond na een stroeve eerste helft van PSV wellicht kans te hebben op iets tastbaars, maar ging meteen na rust over de knie (4-2).
