De waarde van het Drakenbootfestival voor Helmond staat volgens de voltallige lokale politiek buiten kijf. Desondanks komt de gevraagde extra steun voor dit festijn met roeiboten in het Helmondse kanaal er niet. Want waarom zou je gemeenschapsgeld uitgeven als de organisatie zichzelf kan bedruipen?
