Héél even leek een flink gehavend Willem II drie punten mee te stelen uit Leeuwarden. Maar na een tamelijk hectisch einde van het uitduel met SC Cambuur (2-2) gaf Justin Hoogma toe dat een punt het maximaal haalbare resultaat was. Al wilde hij alle noodverbandjes niet als excuus gebruiken.
