Voor trainer Peter Bosz was het duel met FC Eindhoven van woensdagavond een half uur lang het aankijken prima waard. De coach van PSV genoot wel van die fase, waarin PSV via Ricardo Pepi (twee keer) en Guus Til drie keer scoorde. Daarna werd het rommelig en na afloop was er genoeg te bespreken over PSV.
