Tilburg krijgt er een carnavalsfeest bij: Ut Bekaant. Met cavalèr in de hand (een mix van cava en Schrobbelèr) wordt de nacht voor Elf-Elf gevierd als de geboorte van carnaval. „We beginnen klein, kijken of dit evenement potentie heeft”, zegt Toine Naber, secretaris van de stichting.
