Makkelijk was het niet altijd, leuk en leerzaam wel. Dat zegt NEC-trainer Dick Schreuder over de tijd dat hij bij PSV in het jeugdinternaat zat, vanaf 1987. „De club heeft me gesteund op het moment dat ik blessures had en daardoor heb ik later nog bij mooie teams kunnen spelen”, zei hij vrijdag op De Eendracht, het trainingsterrein van NEC. Daags voor het duel met PSV sprak hij over zijn verleden in Eindhoven.
