Lezer Henk Verspeek las in het ED van 25 februari een brief van Kees Haverkamp, waarin hij zich zorgen maakt dat er zo weinig aandacht voor Europa is onder kinderen tot 25 jaar, maar ook onder zijn directe vrienden. ‘Ik vind dat helemaal niet vreemd, hoewel ik zeker niet anti-Europa ben.’ In zijn brief legt hij uit waarom Europa niet populair is.
