DEN BOSCH - Het instorten van de Wilhelminatoren in Valkenburg maakt pijnlijk duidelijk hoe kwetsbaar sommige monumenten zijn. Duizenden van deze iconische bouwwerken verkeren in matige of zelfs slechte staat. In Noord-Brabant stuurt een stichting al vijftig jaar inspecteurs op pad om te voorkomen dat monumenten bezwijken. ,,Maar het staat onder druk.”
