Helmond krijgt op 5 juni een waarschuwing dat het financieel niet goed ging met Groupcard dat onder andere de Witgoedregeling uitvoerde. Toch maakte het op 16 juni geld over. Twee dagen later krijgt Groupcard uitstel van betaling, voorbode voor het faillissement.
