PSV-trainer Peter Bosz gunde Noah Fernandez zaterdagavond in de uitwedstrijd tegen PEC Zwolle zijn debuut in het eerste elftal van PSV. Uit alles bleek dat Bosz vindt dat de pas 17-jarige Belg klaar is voor speelminuten in het eerste elftal. „Ik wilde dat al drie of vier weken”, zei Bosz er onder meer over.
