De Gemeentewet schrijft het zo voor, dus bestaat het Eerselse college na het vertrek van wethouders Kox en Kraaijeveld nu alleen uit de burgemeester en de gemeentesecretaris. Eric Beex is nog altijd wethouder, maar hij maakt voorlopig geen deel uit van het college.
