Twee jaar terug deed Brian Vermeer een stapje terug bij De Valk, maar zondag was hij met een invalbeurt weer eens goud waard voor de eersteklasser. Hij kogelde een vrije trap in de kruising, waardoor De Valk met 2-3 won bij De Ster en zich veilig speelde.
