Wethouder Arno Bonte vertrekt veel sneller uit Helmond dan verwacht. Hij heeft maandag 22 september zijn ontslag ingediend omdat hij woensdag 24 september wordt geïnstalleerd als gedeputeerde van Zuid-Holland. Zijn partij GroenLinks zag het niet aankomen.
