Best Vooruit ontsnapt op het nippertje aan een enorme stunt van Wilhelmina: in de slotseconden wint de ploeg uit Best met 0-1. Best Vooruit was op voorhand huizenhoog favoriet tegen de Bosschenaren, die dus heel lang stand hielden maar de bekerdroom uit een zagen spatten in de allerlaatste minuut.
