Het bekeravontuur van de vrouwen van FC Eindhoven is alweer ten einde, maar wat was de blauwwitte formatie van coach Rik Hoeben dichtbij succes. Na een reguliere eindstand van 1-1 werd de titanenstrijd tegen eerstedivisionist FC Groningen na strafschoppen beslist in het voordeel van de bezoekers.
